Erin Carlstrom practices primarily in the estate planning, business planning and civil litigation areas.  

Erin received her Bachelor’s degree from Yale University in Political Science, with a concentration on American Government. During college, she worked in all areas of politics, from grassroots community organizing to campaign finance reform, earning the Frank M. Patterson Memorial Research Prize in Political Science. She was also a four-year member of the Academic All-American Women’s Varsity swim team. Erin held four jobs throughout her time at Yale as a part of her student commitment, working as a research assistant for the political science department, swim instructor, tutor and sales associate.

Erin received her J.D. from Pepperdine University’s McConnell School of Law while additionally taking courses towards a degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She studied international dispute resolution in London, England and Geneva, Switzerland. While at Pepperdine, she was a member of the champion moot court team, competing at the Nationals Moot Court Competition and placing in the semi-finals at the Constance Baker Motley Moot Court Competition. Before joining Le + Pelletier, LLP, she served as a clerk to the Screen Actor’s Guild, Senator Barbara Boxer of California and the United States Attorney’s Office of the Central District of California.

Erin is a member of the American, California and Sonoma County Bar Associations as well as a section member of the Business Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections of the California Bar. She volunteers with the American Association of University Women and Kiwanis International and serves on the boards of the Santa Rosa Concert Association and Sonoma County Young Democrats. She is fluent in Spanish and is an avid runner.
